Self-Screening & Reflection Tools

The first step toward healing is understanding. These tools are provided to help you quietly reflect on your current experiences in a safe, trauma-informed space. They are designed to bring clarity to whether you might benefit from specialized support.

Anxiety (GAD)

Anxiety often feels like a persistent, uncontrollable worry that interferes with your ability to find peace and focus on the present moment.

  • Do you find it difficult to control or stop your worrying?
  • Do you often feel restless, keyed up, or on edge?
  • Do you find yourself becoming easily fatigued or losing focus?
  • Do you experience physical symptoms like muscle tension or sleep disturbances?

These reflect common GAD experiences but are not diagnostic. If several items fit, you may benefit from a full clinical evaluation.

Depression (MDD)

Depression is more than temporary sadness; it is a weight that affects how you feel, think, and handle daily activities.

  • Have you felt a persistent 'empty' or low mood for the majority of the day?
  • Have you lost interest in activities or hobbies you once enjoyed?
  • Do you struggle with significant changes in appetite, weight, or sleep patterns?
  • Do you feel a sense of worthlessness or excessive, misplaced guilt?

These reflect common MDD experiences but are not diagnostic. If several items fit, you may benefit from a full clinical evaluation.

Eating Disorders

The relationship between body image, food, and sense of control is complex and deeply impacts your emotional and physical wellness.

  • Do you worry intensely about losing control over how much you eat?
  • Does your weight or body shape dominate how you view your self-worth?
  • Do you find yourself preoccupied with calories, food groups, or body checking?
  • Do you engage in restrictive behaviors or feel intense fear about gaining weight?

These reflect common ED experiences but are not diagnostic. If several items fit, you may benefit from a full clinical evaluation.

PTSD & Trauma

PTSD can develop after one or more distressing events, significantly altering your perception of safety and your response to the world.

  • Do you experience intrusive, unwanted memories or physical reactions to past events?
  • Do you feel constantly 'on guard', jumpy, or easily startled?
  • Do you actively avoid places, people, or thoughts that remind you of difficult times?
  • Does your past ever feel like it is happening right now in the present?

These reflect common PTSD experiences but are not diagnostic. If several items fit, you may benefit from a full clinical evaluation.
